Support Services

Your cancer care specialists at NVCI understand the many challenges of cancer and its treatment. That’s why we offer comprehensive support services to our patients and their families.

A variety of support services are available to assist patients and families in managing the many challenges of cancer and its treatment, and to help you and your family members with the stresses that extend beyond diagnosis and treatment. Whether emotional, financial, transportation, occupational, or home care concerns, the disease and its treatment can exhaust your energy and deflate your spirit. Our staff of cancer care specialists encourages you to talk with your physician or nurse about your concerns.

It is also important for patients and family members to commit to care for emotional as well as physical needs. Support staff and professionals such as licensed social workers, nutritionists, financial and insurance counselors, chaplains, and nursing care coordinators are available to help you and your family members identify resources to help you meet your specific needs.
