Department of Urologic Oncology
Urology is a surgical specialty which deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs. The treatment of malignant disease is a very large portion of urologic practice. Successfully treating cancer - of any type - requires the combined efforts of a multidisciplinary team of specialists dedicated to patient care, research, education, and prevention. The NVCI’s Department of Urologic Oncology working with the Urology Specialists of Nevada is dedicated to eliminating genitourinary cancer from the individual by coordinating the talents of our surgeons with the skill of experts throughout NVCI. Our research and clinical scientists strive to work as a single entity committed to translating the latest discoveries in laboratory and clinical research into state-of-the-art treatment of all urologic malignancies. As committed as we are to the successful treatment of genitourinary cancers, we are further dedicated to building and maintaining quality programs to prevent genitourinary cancers before treatment is ever required.
The Urologic Oncology staff is growing! Each faculty member will reflect the high ethical standard of excellence found throughout the NVCI. Working together, we see hope for the future and will achieve our common Mission and Vision.
