Media Visitation Policies
Journalists are welcome to visit Nevada Cancer Institute’s campus. We are open to hosting individual reporters or crews and to facilitate in meeting our faculty, staff, volunteers and patients. We do strictly adhere to our guidelines for journalist visits to the Institute.
Journalists are asked to phone the Communications Department any time they plan to visit the Institute. Call the Communications Department to help arrange interviews with any of our staff, faculty or volunteers and to meet and escort you to your campus destination.
Graphic, Standards & Images
Nevada Cancer Institute strives to establish a consistent and professional identity in our publications, brochures, fliers, presentations, forms, stationery, business cards, promotional items and other materials. The institution’s graphic and editorial standards programs ensure that Nevada Cancer Institute projects a consistent image that strengthens our identity in the community and among our employees, patients and visitors.

Preferred Nevada Cancer Institute Style
The preferred style for the Institute on first reference is: Nevada Cancer Institute No “the” is used before the name.
On second reference NVCI is acceptable.
Please do not use “NCI,” as this refers to the National Cancer Institute.
