Lin-Chi Chen, M.D., Ph.D.

Medical Oncologist

Dr. Chen specializes in lung cancer. She joined NVCI from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where she was a medical oncology fellow. While at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Dr. Chen's research was focused on the characterization of antigens as potential therapeutic targets, with a concentration in thoracic oncology. Dr. Chen has participated in the design and conduct of clinical trials in lung cancer, primarily focused on translational research in small cell lung cancer.

Dr. Chen trained in internal medicine at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center. She received her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York along with a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology. Dr. Chen also was a fellow in internal medicine at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Her expertise is vitally important as Nevada has the nation's seventh highest lung cancer mortality rate.
